Kennan Kellaris Salinero, founder of Yámana Science and Technology, talks about the intersection of science, complexity, change and how we 'do' science. The many challenges to expressing our most creative selves are discussed. Current trajectories are countered with a vision of hope and self-direction from within the scientific community, exploring new paths and learning from effective models of how work is done in other communities.
This talk was given on the opening day of the Science 'UnSummit' 2010, a meeting focusing on the Effort/Reward ratio in science. This meeting took place as part of the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Washington DC Oct 23-25th, 2010.
