In support of human rights in Iran, Quartet Euphoria of Claremont Colleges played Franz Schubert's powerful, haunting, and sublime String Quartet no.14 in d minor, known as "Death and the Maiden. The musicians are Rachel Vetter Huang, violin I, Jonathan Wright, violin II, Cynthia Fogg, Viola, Tom Flaherty, cello. In the second part SANTAR Persian music ensemble invited guest virtuoso of Persian tar Sahba Motallebi. The mother and brother of Fariba Kamalabadi one of the Baha'is in prison in Iran were special hosts. Pomona College faculty of Music, Center cosponsored the event for Global Integrated Education and the Baha'is of Claremont. The concert was attended by about 90 supporters of human rights in Iran from every religious, ethnic and national background at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Geula
