Linked to Jane Frere's Return of the Soul installation at the Patriothall Gallery in Edinburgh, the Book Festival invited Israeli historian Prof Ilan Pappe, Jane Frere and Palestinian human rights lawyer and writer Raja Shehadeh to participate in a panel discussion of the issue of 1948, the Nakbah and its lasting consequences.
