I went to a conference in Las Vegas last month and the last day I was there I had time to kill before my red-eye back to NYC.

So I rode roller coasters and other thrill rides until it was time to go.

These videos were kind of hard to take because people in Vegas are paranoid about you taking a picture or a video of *anything*.

(p.s. This ride was really short, but totally worth it.)

    Thanks, Matt! I use a Canon SD800IS. It won't record in MPEG4 (or better, H.264) but otherwise it is great!

    that's not a bad price. granted im so used to using nikon but if i ever want to buy a new point and shoot it will be that one.

    Honestly, my Nikon D70 sits at home most of the time now. It's just so much easier to have the little Canon in my pocket. That's probably a bad thing.

    Holy god! That was a REALLY fast roller coaster. Have you ridden the one on top of the needle in Vegas? Highly recommended.
