My second D90 test, this time shot with a Voigtlander 58mm f1.4 lens totally handheld wide open. I'm really liking this camera's low light video performance, coupled with a fast lens it gives wonderful results.

Edited in Final Cut Pro using ProRes422.

Dan, I too would like to know the song's title - thanks! Great little piece; that D90 excels at low light, and your shots display that!

Hah, caught a glimpse of Lindsay Hilsum early on in the video (Channel 4 News' China Correspondent)

Best D90 footage I've seen so far. Good work! Did you use zoom to get that shallow DOF?

It seems grainy as well, which I like; at what ISO is it shot?

Voigtlander? My parents had a Voigtlander camera, never thought the brand still exists - and would fit a Nikon. BTW - which is better, the Nikon or the Canon?

Nice, thanks for sharing. But I find the white balance very off - or is this intentional? Cheers.

Great device. Only problem when your filming with a Reflex is that people think you are taking a picture of them! :D
Well it does give some unusual effects that show you people tend to pose for pictures, which is funny :D

But the noise is horrible :(
Working with QT version on After Effects now and it could be fixed with some success. Is there an option to set shutter and gain for videos?

What about Mark II is it much better in low light?

I'm noticing some artifacts very similar to ones I got with a Canon 5D Mk II shooting under florescent lights. Check 00:41, there are "wavy lines" visible in the background. The lines I got were fixed on the image, but it appears to be a similar type of problem.

Is this a shutter speed issue? The more I stopped down, the more noticeable it became. I wonder if it is something unique to DSLRs, I never came across anything like it with camcorders.
