Artist Ralph Lee founded New York City's Village Halloween Parade in 1974, which came to attract over 250,000 people by the time he moved on in 1985. Since the early 90's, his Halloween creatures have haunted the Cathedral of St. John the Divine at the annual Procession of the Ghouls.
FYI Ralph Lee created the Land Shark from Saturday Night Live.
