ZipShape Parametric Model

ZipShape is a method that makes it possible to fabricate single curved panels from plain material without molds. An element consists of two individually slotted panels that interlock when bent to the predefined curvature.
This video shows a parametric model that was developed during a three-day workshop with the Digital Crafting Network at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
