From February to March 2008 i´ve been to the Philippine islands Moalboal, Negros and Malapascua. For the first time i was gaining experience in doing macro.
Here´s the result.

    Thanks Greg!
    In Deutsch: Seegurke. :-)
    It´s a kind of a "seegurke", about 1m long.
How´s the name in English for this creature, actually?

If I may give more details to the mystery creature: Ir probably is Stichopus horrens - Riesen-Seewalze. And what Gregor called "legs" are in fact it's feeding tentacles. These are sticky and place on the ground where detritus and other material gets stuck. Then the tentacles are place in the mouth where the particles and the sand are sucked off. Food gets digested and the sand gets .... guess ;)

    Thanks Andi!
On a sandy bottom - very easy to do.
There´s almost only muckdive around (southeast) Negros.

Words can not describe how amazing this is! WOW! I was in a bad mood today, and this cheered me right up! :D You MUST tell me your Quicktime export settings! Your video has more content and length than all my videos put together, yet my vidoes don't have 1% of the quality of this! GRR!

Thanks a lot!Unfortunately i have to disappoint you. I don´t work with Quicktime. I´ve done the export with Adobe Premiere Pro.

That would be Sea Cucumber (auf englisch).

Great (sehr schön) HC7 footage. Do you use a diopter, if so, which one? Thanks for sharing!

I was working with the Light & Motion standard lense and the Macro Mate on.

Macro Mate seems to do a pretty good job. Having an external macro solution is definately a nice option!
