a glider is boxing the wake of the tow plane during tow. this is a training maneuver all students must perform to get the license. to start the student flies up through the propwash into high tow position, the slides out to the edge, then all around to end at original position. during this maneuver the tow pilot must use opposing controls to keep the flight tracking straight ahead.
