Over 22 million Africans are living with HIV/AIDS. Many call it living with ‘Slim’—a word used to describe the weight loss associated with the disease.
Two million of them are children. Nearly all were infected at birth by mother-to-child transmission and the majority of them are orphans. They are stigmatized by their families, their teachers and by other children. Facing life and death health issues, they wish for an education and life-saving antiretroviral drugs. This film tells their story.
