I like it ! Can you give us some details on how you shot the car footage?
  • Jon Sands 1 year ago
Thanks! The ex1 was mounted to the back windshield with a Filmtools Gripper 3025 (excellent little device).

Had frame accumulation on set at 32 frames, with interval recording also on recording a frame every 2 seconds.

    Very interesting.

    Nice music.

I wanted more of the construction equipment shots.

Not sure of the tie-in between them and the driving shot -- but who cares?!

However, in the name of randomness, very David Lynch-ish (cool!).

More about the workflow would be great, specifically about the specs from the driving sequence.

I watched this because it was featured on Zacuto's "Critics", Episode 2.

thanks! and thanks for the zacuto mention, never would have known. Just watched it and found it a bit hilarious that out of all my work, they picked a test video then criticized it for not having a story? a little confusing but oh well. Whatever helps them sell their overpriced gear.

As for the workflow, ex1 was at 0db gain, 24p with the shutter off.

for the driving, the ex1 was suction mounted to my back windshield with a Filmtools Gripper 3025 (awesome mount, 90 bucks and you can stick your cam anywhere).

On the cam, I had frame accumulation on set at 32 frames, with interval recording also on recording a frame every 2 seconds.

No problem, Jon! It might just be a happy coincidence. You can google Philip or just head to
