Written and directed by Kitao Sakurai and produced by Andrew Barchilon, Aardvark premiered at the 63rd Locarno Film Festival where it won Special Mention for Best First Feature. Aardvark continues its competitive run in such festivals as Rotterdam, AFI FEST, Thessaloniki, Hong Kong, Viennale, BAFICI, CPH:PIX and others. Recent festival wins include Best Original Score (by Fall On Your Sword) at Brooklyn International and Best Actress (Jessica Cole) at Fantastic Fest in Austin.
