Taylor Congdon shoots motocross movies...and now windsurfing movies. While on a moto / surf trip down in Baja Taylor was testing a couple of our new wide angle GoPro cameras and this is what he got during one single session out on the water using two cameras.

We're going to go so far as to say this may not only be the coolest windsurfing video ever...it may be the coolest GoPro video ever. GO TAYLOR...GoPro.

This is the new wide angle Helmet HERO Wide that will be available in about a week in select retailers and online. Then by mid OCT it will be available in full force in all GoPro retailers. Price is $189.99. Get down...!

It was attached to the boom with the Ride HERO clamp mount, a $20 add on accessory.

The Surf HERO will come with a larger adhesive mount for SUPER SUPER strong mounting on boards. It's overkill...but that is what you want on a surfboard, windsurfer, etc. It also comes with an FCS compatible male plug. You can install an FCS center fin plug into the deck of your board and then plug the camera into it. That way when you are not using the camera your board has a flush mounting spot on it for easy camera mounting when you want it.

The Surf HERO will contain the above two mounting options and of course the camera and waterhousing.

I love the gopro windsurfing video, and am planning on ordering the camera in the new year. I do have a request though - I have been trying to find the music used in that vid. Can you please respond with the artist and title of that track?

Great vid! I've always wondered what it's like to windsurf. GoPro puts you right there in the action. Killer soundtrack. It is called “Troubled Son” by "Working For A Nuclear Free City".
