First of all, nice work !
I really like this project and i want to try
something similar.
But i don't know how to make the pointing edges.
Do you use modul8 or some other software to make the projection?
Could you help me with that?

I just used photoshop- and Aftereffects.
That's all, Think to easyway-
1. Projection on to Object (Extendtion mode)
2. Also, Change to Fullscreen mode in photoshop
3. pointing on to edge (use black background)
4. and then connect each dot.
5. maybe you can see some of polygon.
6. and make animation by use AE
I know my english is so werid~
