Hello Sebastian. I have read your posts when you were asking if you can change a canon hv30 from NTSC to PAL. Did you get the canon hv30 from the states? I am also from Europe, and also got a canon hv30 from US. How is working for you (if you go it). By the way, great work on your videos!

Thanks Sergiu. I ended up buying the PAL version. In the end the NTSC version had too many limitations, the most important being the tedious pull-down process for 24p (which is not needed when shooting in PAL) and the fact that you only get a 9 month guarantee in the States, and a 2 year guarantee in Europe.
