Second teaser preview of the new full-length sci-fi/horror feature from Frontline Films, DARK PARADOX. This teaser is from mid-2008, features music from the production as well as finished sound design. Edited together long after the initial premiere, and intended to be used in conjunction with promotional activity at Fan Expo Canada.

The movie follows a writer's unwitting discovery of the history and secret efforts of a cult in Victoria, Canada that has been engaged in a 60 year effort to open a portal between our world and another, letting in a host of vicious interdimensional beings. The city of Victoria was in fact rumoured in the 1980's to be the second worldwide "capital of Satanism" after Geneva, Switzerland. Dark Paradox explores the idea that this myth was not only partially true but also inaccurate in suggesting the cult activity was "Satanic" when in fact it was based on the worship of ancient extraterrestrial "elder gods" in the vein of HP Lovecraft's fiction.

Written and directed by Brian Clement, starring Chuck Depape, Bronwyn Lee, Michael Farrell, Robin Thompson, music by Jason Robertson.

Dark Paradox made its Canadian debut in October of 2007 at the theatrical premiere screening. In May of 2008, the South American premiere came at the Rio de Janeiro International Fantastic Film Fest (riofan.com.br). The US premiere will be October 4 2008 at the HP Lovecraft Film Fest in Portland, Oregon (hplfilmfestival.com).
