I'm in class right now so I can't listen to the music but I'm already liking it a lot
nice colors too
CT: Do you know if Robert has arranged anything like what he's done here that can be bought? It's haunting and perfect. Thanks for your role in pulling this together too.
Glad you like the video. I'm not sure what you mean with:
"Do you know if Robert has arranged anything like what he's done here that can be bought?"
I'm not sure who Robert is. I arranged everything and the production crew executed on it (perfectly I might add).
Cheers
Sound track perfect - well done Robert Law.
Make a video with substance and you wont waste the viewers time. I was expecting some kind of story, expecting to learn even one small detail about what the hell the Great Open Road Classic is and came away disappointed. I think its important that not everyone on vimeo lauds your project that is actually a fluff piece that could have been made at any time.
I think Rapha could spend their marketing budget on more interesting video than the ones that I commented on today.
Maybe I will have something more positive to say tomorrow, but today I'm just annoyed that people are getting paid to make such trite garbage.
A bit of background though. Many things went wrong that didn't allow for a story to be told with the footage we had. We went in with the intention to do something completely different than what turned out. Since it wasn't possible to go back and reshoot, so this is what we got. I thought it turned out rather well under the circumstances.
Also, no one got paid to make this "trite garbage". It actually came out of the pockets of the riders, the film producers and myself.
Before you make such comments you should perhaps understand what goes on behind the scenes.
soundtrack is really nice, would love to listen this while cycling. Any possibility you share/sale the song?
thanks
The shot of the god beam disappearing as the riders pass under it, and the shot of the edge of the forest from the clear cutting--stunning.
Also, Robert Law nailed the soundtrack. Please make that available for sale or download!
Thanks again, maybe I'll go pick up those Rapha knee warmers after all...
