This test shows how the how the 300D in full manual mode behaves vs. the 350D in aperture priority mode. As can be seen there is a slight amount of flicker to be seen for the 300D even in full manual mode, but it is tolerable and no challenge for a deflicker filter. Much worse for the 350D in AV mode which flickers significantly due to coarse steps in shutter speed. Manual (cloudy) WB, evaluative metering and viewfinder covered on both cameras.
