“If the Clash and the Talking Heads were to have offspring, it would be BLACK TAXI.”—Performer Magazine, January 2010

The Society was proud to launch an intimate private concert series in New York and LA the week of Nov. 15th.

In New York, a 4,000 sq ft loft, candle light, fireplace and a little nostalgic shag carpeting colored the setting, as members were treated to Brooklyn-based indie-rock band BLACK TAXI.

Known for their signature sound of new-wave melodic tones, with the gritty tenderness of garage-blues and jazz, Black Taxi swooned the guests while Johnnie Walker cocktails did the rest. (all pun intended)
