Welcome to Borås; a small Swedish town that has recently had an exciting new addition to its community...a nine meter high statue of Pinocchio cast in bronze & situated just outside the city centre.

The statue has caused quite the commotion in Borås & divided opinion among the town folk. It was this difference of opinion that spurred local artist Kari Palmqvist to create a painting depicting Pinocchio's arrival. Much like the statue Kari's painting uses scale to show the event & measures 5 meters by 3.
