Verna Mumby is an ISA Certified Arborist, PNWISA Tree Assessor, member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Comox Valley Land Trust [CVLandTrust.ca]. Professionally she works with land owners and developers. As a conservation and stewardship volunteer she works to retain the urban forest. Verna talks to hanspetermeyer about the Comox Valley Land Trust, how she got involved in this kind of work, the importance of the Nature Without Borders project to developers and conservationists, and the work currently being done by CVLT through the Comox Valley Conservation Strategy.
