I've been friends with the guys in Garage Voice for a couple of years now, and they had a project where they asked several filmmakers to make music videos to play behind them live. This is my video for their song "Pardon Me My Friend."

I spent about 50 hours hand drawing and animating the video, another 10 or so editing and color correcting.

The inspiration for the piece was really the song. I have been wanting to experiment with stop motion for a long time, and when I played the song I saw 1960s Tuscany country side, a couple in an MG, flying along. And, since my budget was next to nothing, I decided to do the next best thing...stop motion animation.

The Tommy, Bruce and Tric are all great guys, they have a real passion of life and people. Check out more Garage Voice at: garagevoice.com/
