The imagery in this short film was captured almost entirely within an abandoned farm house in Kansas. I stumbled onto it when driving through the country with my dad. I was struck with a strange feeling while walking through the remnants of lives that seemingly just disappeared there. The feeling was partly mysterious and curious and partly sad. Many things were still in tact and there were definitely signs of family life (children's books, toys, Christmas ornaments, dolls, trophies, an old TV, etc.). I'm still not quite sure what to make of it, but I couldn't help but to document it. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you are in some way moved.
