2. Making of Droste Videoclip "Clap your brains off"
This is the making of the "Clap Your Brains Off" videoclip (Mexican Droste Videoclip) from the group No Somos Machos.
It's a low budget / sort of home-made videoclip, done with the help of lots and lots of friends.
In this simple clip are encapsulated lots of months of work. Part of my life, emotions, joy, love and some suffering (just a bit) is contained in it.
I wanted to share this experience, hope you like it...
And if you do, please comment, and please send it to more people. I made it to be seen, so, help me out in that area will you???
I just wish to thank everyone who participated, 'cause everyone did an amazing job.

Hi Frank. I just want to congrat you on the music video! It is amazing! And honour the patience you've had> 6months of work and effort!! Thanks for sharing the making of. It was really interesting to see what lies beyond the photos and the formula. Elli -the girl who was clipping those damn-not-glowing-dots

Wow.

Very interesting! I learned of your clip from a tutorial on Creative Cow. The tutorial was about the Droste plugin for Photoshop and After Effects. That would have come in handy for your project, no?
  • Frank Beltrán 10 months ago
I saw that tutorial, I was pretty flattered by the credit, someone in some other post told me about it.

For sure those plugins would totally made it easier if they existed earlier at that time... although part of the fun in making this project was figuring out how to solve several issues by ourselves with the help of several colaborators and friends...
