damn what are your compression settings that quality was really good

How do you guys go about editing your m2t files from the hv20? I just got my hv30 today and I'm having trouble editing them in Vegas 6.0.

i don't use vegas so im not too sure and i dont know what an m2t file is. i use final cut and i just import the clips and they are good.
Compressions - mpeg streamclip is good if ur on mac, it might be for windows too, idk. but the h.264 is all i use with a size of either 1080 or 720
