Thanks soooooo much ! Really !

I wanted to say the last one I did. Be sure there will be some more to come. I'm working right now on a music video for Doctor Flake... Some real good chilling trip-hop... I am working on timelapses and shooting in museums and things like that...

Hope you will still like that is to come...

    Thanks again so much.

cool .. Which program do you use ?
  • DaBrainkilla 3 years ago
I use photoshop to edit the pictures, then Premiere to put them in the right order then export.
  • Jonathan Roulston 3 years ago
When you say you edit the pictures in photoshop, do you use a batch processing thing?

How did you make the camera look so steady when you took pictures of the parking garage. Like did you walk around with the camera held up against your chest or did you move teh tripod each frame?
  • DaBrainkilla 3 years ago
No, I edited all the pictures manually, to add creepy thing and textures.

For the garage I used both techniques, on the chest and with a tripod, or sat on a car.

ahhhh i love the timing - gorgeous sense of pacing. What software are you using?
  • DaBrainkilla 3 years ago
Again, we can say just photoshop. All the effects are made picture by picture on photoshop. Then, I just use Première tu put all the images in the correct order, one by one.

and by the way, THANKS SO MUCH !

this is the most visually interesting / stunning piece ive seen in the last year easily, I wish it had more substance ie a short drama or something as the visuals really do impact in such a strong way.

really beautiful - what lenses / flash did you use?
any chance of seeing some exported stills from ps before going to premiere :)

    thanks alx
  • DaBrainkilla 3 years ago
What can I say... THANKS again !

One day, if I try to raise a little bit money, I promise you some tortured drama in stop motion !
It would take much more time and a little budget I think... even very small, but I'm thinking about this too.

I used a D40x, with the standard lens and zoom.

And... Yes ! I am going to upload some pics of this on flickr and link them to the video.
But I'm very glad you ask for this, so I will mail you a special file !

Thanks again, really impressed by all these comments.

out of all these genres of music videos i've seen... this is by far one of my favourites. you should submit this into the ann arbor film festival--they like experimental types of vids like these.

    sweet job. congrats on this.

Perfect harmony. It moves. The feelings. Triggers my emotion to focus. Awsome! I loved it.

truly incredible, i don't see how anyone could try to continuously work on that for 4 months and not get tired of it, everythings perfectly in sync with the music, awesomely done

i like all your videos! nice work, did you use premiere or after fx to flow with the music? that must have taken days just synchronize the intro. i just got after fx yesterday
  • DaBrainkilla 3 years ago
I use Premiere to edit all this, cause every effect is done manually for each image, and yeah ! it's a long process... Be sure to have some coffee and pizzas !

Thanks for the interest, good luck with after fx !

Thanks so much ! I did not make any studies in videomaking, I tried to do this, for fun, with a poor Nikon Coolpix in 2007... I am slowly but seriously getting myself into music video making.

Each message like yours just makes me going on !

Thanks Brian ! Lisa, BigCow, Thomas, Чσsяα and all of you !

  • Hey man, great job, am a film maker in Cameroon, West Africa and is really interested in learning more from you. What software did you use to edit this video? I'm using Sony Vega 9 Pro and rendering in it is a problem with me. I'm interested in purchasing another software that can work better if at all there is any. It's good in image quality but rendering is my problem... would really love to read from you on: penjoka@yahoo.com Congrats bro

this is so fucking awesome. one of my favourites by a long shot. how did you get those shots of the trains? out the window or something?
  • DaBrainkilla 1 year ago
    Thanks so much Nicholas.

I could manage to get this shot because I took a night train, probably one of the last ones, and the driver saw me trying to makes pictures, so he invited me to sit next to him, I was able to shoot with a part of my arm out of the train.
This driver was so kind !
