WikiLeaks faces many challenges these days, not the least of which is the fact that its founder Julian Assange is being held in a London jail under a European arrest warrant from Sweden on allegations of sexual assault. Some of the obstacles in the way of the controversial new media site, which recently published thousands of classified U.S. government documents, are less sensational but perhaps as significant, such as the sustainability of the nonprofit project.
