"Grow Up" is the first part taken from the identity trilogy from Ivan Madeira. This short follows Charlie (played by Cary Crankson) and his life and slight mis-adventures. It shows how easy it is to fall into the trap of being in a place in your life, which may not have been the place you envisaged when your were a bit more naive and idealistic.
Grow Up is the debut short from writer and director Ivan Madeira. It's a film that tries to show that the only way to get your point across is to get out there and do it yourself. Making it with whatever skill, experience and equipment you can muster with whatever money you have is key to showing the UK, in the time of cuts (RIP UKFC), we must not let the arts die. Keep on persevering and keep on blagging.
Grow Up has received some notice which has taken everyone slightly by surprised. Getting into the London Independent Film Festival and after being accepted into the Short Film Corner at Cannes where Ivan Madeira and Cary Crankson grafted their arse off... it's been an amazing journey of working out how all this film lark works.
