I believe Olivier shot this with the SGPro 35 Kit and the crew's FX1... we had Amanda's 300 zoom lens mounted (which was a lot of fun to film with).

We waited at the highest switch-back in Cascades National Park for Larry to pass and ride down into the valley. We took a lot of footage from this ledge, it was a very beautiful spot to spend an hour.

Amanda was hoping our 2nd teaser would be a clip from an interview we just transcribed, but I had this as a backup, and she hadn't gotten a chance to come over and tell me which section she wanted :P

    Hey Merten :) I just subscribed to your blog - looks like you took quite the trip. San Francisco was where I finished my 1st bike trip in 2001, although I wish I had started in NY ;) I left from Michigan cause it's just where I lived and it was easiest.

    But watching these clips does take me back... and leave me a little emotional. I'm glad it had such an effect on you - it's encouraging. I'd love to hear more about your trip!

    Hey Sox :) No, it's not an original, this is called 'Seeing You Off the Edges' by Eluvium, I love his stuff so much. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll able to get permission from him to actually use his music in the film...

    Great shot, It would be interesting to see right before that big cliff, a head on view of the rider coming towards the camera.

    Thanks Michael :) We did get some shots of Larry coming at us before he wound around this turn below - I really would love to go back to this spot. It was beautiful there.

    I don't really care what route. I will have to buy a bike too, all I have are a couple of single speeds. I'm pretty sure i'll never be badass enough to do a thousand mile trip on a single speed...

    Great shot. Everyone has said that but it's true. I still want to know where the dude it going. Stop teasing us and lets get to the movie. I like how the music sounds like something from the Pearl Harbor trailer. I was just waiting for someone to drop a bomb on the USS Arizona. Honestly. Even though I keep making jokes. these are great teasers. There perfect for the movie. Truly perfect! Now, back to the jokes.....
