I just received my "MiniDV Steadicam" (this unit is sold on eBay by pjbalvanz) which is a Glidecam 2000/4000 style stabilizer that is only 11" tall. Shortly after unboxing, I set it up with my HV30 and took some initial test footage with it.

This is the first time I have ever used a handheld stabilizer.......ever. I realize that I am at the mercy of the learning curve and will take some practice to get good with this thing. I was trying some shots that required two hands for panning and angling.....probably something I should have waited to do until I was a bit more familiar with it. :)
