We had 2 epic days on two different spots near Bormio and Livigno Italy. The first, Passo Verva connects the Valdidentro/Val Viola Valley with the Valdisotto Valley and offers a huge freeriding area with lots of climbing routes for combined snowkiting / freeriding! Hiking effort: around 2-3 hours (hiking necessary also on the way back...)
On the second day, the area north of the Passo Foscagno (just south-east of Livigno), offered lot of space for all types of snowkiting! Flying, Freeriding, Freestyle - just a big funpark for every kiter...! We had a strong wind, so no hiking but in the end well powered on the 7m Ozone Frenzys 2011.
With light winds, hiking effort: ~30-45min
