A multi-disciplinary panel of scholars and American Muslim professionals will reflect on the history of Islam as an inextricably American experience. The panel will also reflect on the findings from the Muslims in the Mountain West project and show a trailer of the upcoming documentary, “Muslims in the Rockies.” Assistant Professor Nabil Echchaibi, associate director of the Center for Media, Religion and Culture, will moderate the panel.
