Quick test at dusk with the GH2 with stock lens as I get used to it (slowly!!). Built-in mic for audio, including the musical clock in the shopping arcade.
Just experimenting with the camera handheld in low light. ISO 1600. I added a very gentle film curve and vignette in MB looks, and in the first shot, a grad filter.
I'm not sure my XHA1 would have coped at this light level - and it's cool that no-one bats an eyelid when you're using a "stills" camera out in public (very different with a video camera). I'm starting to love the GH2 for what it can do (rather than hating it for not being a camcorder). In particular I love the colours and overall clarity and "look" of the pictures. You really need to download this to see how the detail sparkles. Rename with .mpg extension if the download won't play.
A few days time and I'm shooting a drama scene with it - I'll upload that when it's done. We'll see what happens!
