More timelapse footage shot through my new 15mm lens & 0.42x adaptor arrangement.
At first glance, it would appear that I could fill the frame a little more with this format, but keep in mind that when projected on to a domed surface, the centre of this image would be directly overhead, and anything above the centre would be upside down on the opposite side of the dome.
So, most of the "action" is kept to the 0º-60º altitude band on the south side (bottom) of the image, sloping off towards east and west. The north side and zenith is left to open sky. On the whole, the audience faces South for these type of films anyway.
I'll know for sure if this works later this week, as I'm going to try it out on the dome at Adelaide Planetarium.
Music is "Silver Morning" by Brian Eno.
