THE CELL is a short documentary that makes analogies between the biological world of cells and our society. Mainly it consists in analogies between the cell as the structural unit of life and the man, as the structural unit of society. Another analogy that is in focus is created between the cell and the fundamental unit of economy, money. THE CELL intends to make the viewers create their own opinions about everyday life and society, and it stands out as a manifest of the objectiveness of the documentary genre. Enjoy. Comments about it are also apreciated.

3 months ago This is one of my favorite shorts on Vimeo, by far, for covering everything as a topic. Also, that is wrong, the deepest mysteries of life do not lay beyond our comprehension. There may be some truth to that, but if you do not die too quickly, you will be the deepest mysteries of life.. Life itself is said to be the deepest mystery, but even that is self evident in the most mundane actions. The statement that 'life's deepest mysteries still lay beyond our comprehension' is too narrow because those deepest mysteries are also part of our being moment to moment. <3 -
Eugen Neacsu 1 month agothanks very much for your big comment. the biggest one by far :)). And the only one that covers the text part. Also thanks for the including in your video channel. As for the deepest mystery of life... i`m glad to see another opinion on that. To me is more like a mystery, everything around... although you know some of the causes, you don`t actually really know the question of the big WHY? and trying to explain on WHY always moves you to another WHY and each time this WHY gets bigger and bigger. I think on this topic you can write countless of books and always end up with another WHY. <3 cya
