Very cool. Must have taken FOREVER to render all that lens blur!
Great Stuff
It reminded me of a maquette, I guess what made me feel that feeling, is the fact that is quite blurred at both background and foreground, very like when you use a macro lensess on a camera to shoot small things like an Antz...:D...
VERY INTERESTING Keith!!
Thanks for share!!
Asier.
really enjoyed.
really nice effect and the point of view is helping aswell
Hopefully a lot! :)
WOW!
I've never seen Circular Quay Quit like that before!!!!
Love it :)))))
is that tilt shift lense you were using?
cool cool cool!
LOVE it!!
I want to play with the toys! HA!
first seconds you think, "ahhh nice rendering" until you recognize its real. After you got it you cant stop laughing how cute this hole little big world looks. love the speedboats speeding through the screen. <3
kudos to the tilt shift master!
These are high res photos downsized to produce the video. The smooth motion is related to frame rate. Thanks for the questions.
this one is definitely some of the best i've seen
I'd put the embed video on my blog.
Sydney has a great landscape for this kind of photography. Plenty of hills and clifflines surrounding beautiful harbors. Cheers, Keith.
This is amazing movie...
What type of camera taken movie?
(Looking at those high poles "loosing focus" as they enter the blurred area in the background).
I am interested in the psychology. As far as I can see, there's no real reason for me to "feel" as if these are miniatures (they are not of course), but I do. Strongly.
Is this simply because previous conditioning has lead me to associate a very short depth of field and no water or wind movement with models? Or is it something else?

Cheers,
Keith.
I rocked up and introduced myself to you on Sat when you were down at Tamerama beach.
This vid is my current fav but really looking forward to checking out what you do with the Sculpture walk.
Have a good one and wear lots of sun screen :-)
