The Araneus Quadratus can be found in bushes, trees and hedgerows throughout Britain from June - October. The females can grow up to 17mm and the males can grow to a slightly smaller 8mm.
This one was outside the front door of my Ma's house, and since I just got a shiny new JVC EVERIO HD camera, I tested it out on this fella.
