Canon has really stepped up to the plate once again, woot!
brown in the video prefer sony !,...
But when the 5d was the only FF available (aside from the 1dsii & iii), I was (and still am) very impressed with its low light abilities and it was not long ago the ONLY dslr that had usable 1600 shots.
I hope the bebbs review is true about the usable 6400. Heck, i'd be satisfied with a "usable" 3200 (usable meaning ability to still be PPed without much degradation).
I cant wait till the RAW file samples are available, even though the jpeg samples already look great.
I guess what I'm trying to say is: What does PPED mean?
From what i saw from Vincent Laforest the video Qualty is just incredible...
Overall, I like this direction of technology... I hope it makes the expensive, bulky and difficult to use 35mm DOF adapter absolete... the sooner the better... and, I say this as I bite my tongue... specially after recently putting some bucks into the Letus DOF adapters.
And you can operate in less light. I've heard DOF adapter suck a lot of light...
again you would probably need to buy a decent HDMI preview monitor to use the 5d as a steadicam
thanks Canon
I read somewere, it’s not recommended to use auto focus in video mode. So I am wounding, how I am going manage all that with two hands? Did u use auto focus in this video?
would u suggest that, should a go for two cameras {DSLR & Camcorder}? Do you think image quality of this full size sensor camera and quality of lances is worth compromising with difficulty of using canon 5D mark II as camcorder
