Details really matter. Especially when you truly love someone. Their slightest ticks, movements and expressions tell a story that becomes both familiar and precious. The nuances that others simply miss, become treasures found and appreciated through the eyes of love. And this is how I always want to view my children.
I love to watch my children. I find my mind often camping out on the small things. Their expressions and reactions are beautiful to me.
So, one day I tried an experiment to capture my daughter Virginia's emotional responses to a film filled with child-like enthusiasms, and compelling pathos. The film was "Up."
I used a fixed 85, 1.2 L series lens on my Canon 5D Mark II, then planted the camera on the seat in front of my daughter Virginia and me using a Gorillapod.
Here are the results. I hope they bless you, but I assure you they bless me more.
