Mark Vaughn of First American Corp demo's Fault Tolerance on VMworld 2008 in Las Vegas.
This feature was introduced the first time by the previous CTO, Mendel Rosenblum, on VMworld 2007 in San Francisco. Back then it was called Continous Availibility.
This feature uses the lockstepping techniques already present in VMware Workstation and is now called: vLockstep.
