A new short Timelapse video on Vienna. This time trying new things and first time in 1080

I repeated two of my favourite videos to see the result but the rest are new.

I've been playing with B&W and Color HDR, creating masks with the pen tool in AE and learning about text and Motion Tracking, What a wonderful world!.

I'm pretty sure I've made many mistakes but I'm always learnig and I think that it's on the right way.

Final edition in Final Cut and color correction with Magic Bullet.

It's not a Christmas video but I it's a good moment to wish you a Merry Christmas.

Thanks whether you watch it or not.

    Julio.
  • Rafael Asquith plus 1 year ago

    Felices fiestas.

Definitely, I prefer the previous B&W version. but it's always good to experiment.
  • Rafael Asquith plus 1 year ago
    Always learning and experimenting.
Original process was in B&W but I wanted to give a bit of colour to the scene. In this case in Photomatix desaturating lights and shadows from the original pictures and the results processed in AE together with B&W 4K video.
    Thanks for the comment Patryck

You Rafael, Patryk Kizny, MILapse, Tom Lowe @ Timescape and David Coiffier(the boss) just to name a few are my REFERENCE when it comes to timelapse and it's for a REASON. Would be very appreciated to see some tutorials like Patryk's ones or the ones on timescapes.org forum though mate. Besides, needless to second the folks' sincere appreciation-comments of the great job above :) way to go ambre.
  • Rafael Asquith plus 1 year ago
Thanks EgoFreeMan and wow!, Tom Lowe, he is the best I'm just a beginner in this amazing world having fun with every minute I spend on it. WHat I'm trying is to learn from people like Patryk, MILapse, Tom and David but at the same time developing my own style. I like B&W, dark scenes, I wish you understand me :-)
Should be great a tutorial but I think that my English is not good enough to do it, anyway I'll try after Christmas.

Nice one Rafael! What was the bracketing set at? Not sure if it's different than the 5D with 3
  • Rafael Asquith plus 1 year ago
Hi Michael, there are no bracketing shots on this video, only RAW by the way bracketing mode in 450D and 7D is 3.
    Thanks.
  •
  • Mikel Camara 1 year ago
Muy bueno Rafa! Los movimientos están hechos con Keyframes?
  • Rafael Asquith plus 1 year ago
    Gracias Mikel.
