Marcy is a 2 year old Virginia Opossum (Didelphis virginiana). She is non-releasable and used for Environmental Education by the Wildlife Rescue Center in Hampton Bays, NY. Opossums are wonderful creatures; they happen to be North Americas only marsupial or pouched mammal. They are great rodent control, non-aggressive, non-RVS, and a beneficial part of our natural world.
