Klubb Kanins Julekanin is a seasonal tradition in a town called Trondheim, in the country of Norway to the North. On this one special evening of the year, followers of the ancient traditions come togheter to eat rice porridge with cinnamon, suger and butter eyes, while they listen to or perform various seasonal psalms of their choise. On this wonderful evening of the 17th of December, 2010, the following acts appeared spreading the joy, in the order they performed: Swamps Up Nostrils, A melodyc shivering form, Gautokeino & MRTNPLMR, Tonulenul and Elektrosopp. The evening was finished off with the traditional Julejammen where everyone came togheter and rejoiced in a sonic micro holiday that lasted for about an hour. The evening was held at Babel Art Space, the art in the venue at the time of this Julekanin was that of Mayumi Ishino and Joshua Hagler. Thanks to everyone!
