I already like the music ! I like the two guys jumping between the two others used liked a sample. It's a bit like sheep you have to count to fall asleep. The movement at 3:30 is really perfect with the music.

    i agree. its like sheep.

Another powerful soundtrack, I'm still haunted by Minimum Wage! Like how you introduce the fascism feel towards the end

Thank you! I haven't heard from you in a long while!

I hope the fascist images aren't taken out of context -- they were supposed to have vaguely homoerotic overtones.

    Very good!
I like how there´s a story behind it. (or isn´t there?)

Great music - perfect for the clip!

The music tells the story! Or does it?

How did you find this song? thats a crazy fit!

    i love these old footages.

As soon as I saw the original footage, this Lemon Jelly track immediately came to mind. When I saw that the highlighted text in the clip featured the words "nervous tension," it was as good as done.

Tres Funkah! I was going to participate in this project, but someone already explored the homoerotic aspect of the film. Imagine my despair. I so wanted to use the phrase "taint-punching sodomites" this weekend.
  • Tallulah 3 years ago
Aw, c'mon, FuzzyDave -- there's always enough homoeroticism to go around! The "taint-punching sodomites" on the other hand...
  • FuzzyDave 3 years ago
yes. on the other hand, there isn't enough taint-punching and sodomy going around. C'mon, people! Get with the program! USA! USA! USA!

I love it. I love Lemon Jelly, and you've edited it to fit so well. Really good work. I can see it must have taken a long time to make it that good.

Thank you for the nice comment! It's true -- I WAS up pretty late editing this. There's some pretty sloppy edits as a result.

Lemon Jelly has always been a favorite (especially the first two albums).

You seem to have settled into a routine of uploading one clip every three months. I'm looking forward to seeing your next clip at the end of July.
  • Tallulah 3 years ago
I'm planning an obnoxiously jingoistic clip to commemorate the Fourth of July (Independence Day). I look forward to your "like it."

Fantastic. The fascist salute says it all. I know what a "forward roll" is, though I still call it a "tipperly-top-tail", but who came up with that pose and what do they call it? "I know, what we'll do is, you stand on my thighs with one arm behind your back, throw a fascist salute with the other arm, and then we'll get a line of other guys to leap between us." "That's a great idea! Should releive a bit of nervous tension, too."
  • Tallulah 3 years ago
"Tipperly-top-tail" is such a better description than the somewhat bland "forward roll."

Very cool piece. Loved the way the "cool" music and "odd" visuals worked together. Nice.
