Multi-screen installation Ballet Mechanique explored the idea of physicality in the virtual (projected) environment. By re-arranging and composing sequences of the body into new forms, a new experience of time and space was being created. By use of rectangular screens and a threedimensional projection set-up, a sophisticated visual surrounding was accomplished. Ballet Mechanique has been exposed as a video- installation as well as multi-screen performance. The content existed of both found footage as well as self-recorded video's a dancers.
