There is nothing quite like training in the open air, just think of all the winters wasted inside boxes. Not only is it far more frugal, but the ambiance is priceless. None more so than this time of year when it is so very picturesque. True it is mejor chilly willy, but I find that once the blood Is up, my body stays hot for hours, and for me there is no better way to get chi moving than to start the work out with jump rope skipping. So quickly you will need to strip off the layers, just be sure to whack that jacket strait back on between sets. About 5 months ago i started rolling ropes inspired by Bosu creator David wreck. I now see heavy ropes an invaluable tool and and integral part of my yipyip, not only for core and upper body work, but also as a stretching aid especially for shoulders and lower back.
Do hope you enjoy this little clip shot on an android phone at cassiobury park 20/12/10.
Hope it inspires you to get out into Mother nature and GET IT ON irrespective of the weather.
