somehow you manage to comment on things and people by just letting them be, and that seems to release such an intimacy and non violence into the scenes. thank you for sharing and restating this way of looking. Happy autumn shooting!

Wow, i have to admit the start looked interesting yet I didn't expect it to get as good as it got. This is a type of beautiful I haven't seen, on the internet. This was intense. Congratulations.

Stunning. Love the texture in those hand/seashell shots. Did you color the footage in post?
  •
  • josh echevarria 1 year ago
really beautiful....what adapter do you use?
  • Marco Aslan plus 1 year ago
Actually no adapter was used - Shot with long lens- and a gradient was added in post.

I am impressed. It 'a simple invitation but decided a second one and a logical case: the fantasy and magic. Compliments. Good work and lonely music.

  • kelly ponzi 1 year ago
Very moving piece. I loved the close in shots of the Italians, the hands and sand, and of course the old man with the pigeons....the whole piece has a timeless quality and quiet stillness not found in video/short film so much any more very arty

  • Anselm Peischl 1 year ago
First I thought nothing spectacular of the clip, couldnt find any thought - even it was beautiful to watch.

But the man with the birds really impressed me... somehow I want to be an living image like him in my old days - in contact with nature...

What a camera do you use ? used any stabilisator software?
  • Marco Aslan plus 1 year ago
HVX200 - I would really love a stabilisator software. Would you recommend me one? I know FCP 6 has one...
  • Anselm Peischl 1 year ago
Hell no ^^ I have no idea of creating videos and clips... so better ask another person thats in the material, im more that audio type ;-)

    greetings
    Anselm

I read the comments, and there's not much left to say other than, "Wow." Very inspiring. I liked amber tonality throughout.

There seem to be so many stories weaved into 2.5 minutes... including some Brazilian Portuguese in the midst of an Italian surrounding... curious...
  •
  • Marco Aslan plus 1 year ago
    Hey Thanks Marcelo -
Liked your interest in languages and the contrasts you mentioned.
You may like to know that the footage was shot in south of France.
    Cheers!

  •
  • Gino K plus 11 months ago
Hey Marco, It is beautiful. You should work on your movie. First of all, FCP6 has the stabilizer progrm and it is only applied to small parts of video clips. Even it takes looooon hours on a two quad core 4 gb ram machine of my mac and be honest with you it is not worth it. The best you can do is to get a glidecam system for your HVX around $2000 _get the vest if you dont want carpel tunnel syndrom- Did you shoot this on p2? How did you get the colors?

Beautiful work - I love this style. I can't wait to see more of your work.

You'd mentioned in your response to my comment for "Voyage" that this HD upload may have suffered from some dropped frames - but if so, it's less detrimental (I don't even notice it) than the compression loss of the non-HD version of "Voyage".

    Thanks for sharing!
