I just saw my favourite band, The Tragically Hip, play two shows here in New York. It's a pleasure to see them in such a small venue, because in Canada they play to sold out hockey arenas. Their shows also turn into a patriotism-fest for Canadians, which is great.
Gord Downie is the lead singer, and he is best described as part Vedder, part Morrison and part Stipe.

Amanda 3 years agoLOVE the Hip. I didn't even know they toured in the US until a couple months ago when they came to Indianapolis. Sadly, I knew of no other fans to go with.
