though synching the japanese lyrics was a huge challenge, we were very excited to undertake MIKAZUKI by enon. we were inspired by cherry blossom season, the openness and calm of japanese landscapes. shooting at prospect park on a challenged budget, we shot this this run and gun. so one sunny day, we went to the park with a bolex, 4 flashlights, a bag filled with cherry blossom petals, and a ukulele. this picturesque video includes designed elements that were composited in after effects.
