Ok, I had just unboxed my new Canon HF11 and wanted to get a one minute clip to play with (all night). I bought it for 2 reasons - the 24Mbps AVCHD ceiling, and the ability to shot in 30p. This was shot in auto mode, but I think I had the soft skin filter on. If this wasn't such a new camera that I thought people were interested in I would have waited for a better filmed clip of a better subject, but thought there would be interest in this.

I finally understand the way canon is doing their 30p (progressive segmented frame). Basically I just output as progressive for any file type other then back to AVCHD. My progressive DVD and DV files looked good from this clip. As did all my web formats. No ghosting or interlace lines in movement.

Comments and advice are appreciated.
